It's been a long time since I've had a crush on a boy.

You know, the kind where you walk a certain way at school, even if it is completely out of your way, just so you could see him.

Or the kind where a big smile comes across your face when you open your phone and see you have a text from him.

The kind where you get butterflies in your stomach when you make eye contact with him.

When you literally cannot get him out of your mind.

Or you're always checking to see if you've made his Top 8. (Hahahah, literally it's been THAT long).

So if you know of any crush-worthy guys....send them my way :)

What Not To Wear: BYU-Idaho Edition

Literally every single day I am appalled by the things I see people wearing around campus. Now I know I am not the most stylish person (although on some days I can look pretty cute) (I only have one class on Tuesday and Thursdays, I'm not trying to impress anyone...give me a break people!), however these fashions are ludicrous and you would never catch me wearing/following these trends that you will probably see around BYU-Idaho on a daily basis.

Talk about fashion suicide....

I'm not sure who or what designed these shoes and thought they were cute. Are you serious? I see all kinds of variations around campus and it makes me want to barf. Hideous, I tell you. Oh and I looked up how much these were online...$95. NINETY-FIVE DOLLARS PEOPLE?!? Do you know how much I could buy with $95?? Let's just round it up to $100 with tax. (Like 4 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, a hat, some sandals, and jewelry from Forever 21 in case you were wondering).

Nothing is worse when you see an attractive persons of the opposite sex and check them out. Top to bottom. Okkaay, you're liking what you see? But wait. You get to their shoes and they are wearing a pair of these:

Or some other form of tennis shoes. Throw in a pair of these:

...And you're just screaming fag. And they instantly become unattractive. Call me shallow? Whatevs.

Get rid of those shoes and you should probably throw away those True Religions too.

For the ladies:

Wearing a purse AND a backpack. Totally unnecessary and you look like a fool. Plus if you have that much stuff that you need both, something is definitely wrong. Oh, I got this picture off the internet, but while you're at it, girlfriend, fix your hair, shoes, etc.

The other day in one of my classes there was this foolio and I kid you not, he was wearing dark purple bell bottomed jeans, a light purple pin striped shirt, and a grey vest over the top of it.

Uhm, the 70's called....they want their fashion back.

Mr. and Mrs. Meacham

On June 17, 2011 my family of 5...

Became a family of 6.

I think it was the perfect day. Stunning bride, handsome groom, beautiful couple. I am so so happy for Robyn and Troy and I love them both so much. I am glad that they were able to find each other and be sealed together in the Newport Beach LDS Temple for time and all eternity.

In my religion class, we talk a lot about marriage, husband and wife, their roles, etc. I can't help but think of this newly married couple whenever I read through articles and just want to share everything with them.

“The Lord has ordained that we should marry,” said President Gordon B. Hinckley, “that we shall live together in love and peace and harmony...The time will come when you will fall in love. It will occupy all of your thoughts and be the stuff of which your dreams are made...You will know no greater happiness than that found in your home...The truest mark of your success in life will be the quality of your marriage...This choice [of a companion] will be the most important of all the choices you make in your life."

I believe that Robyn and Troy made the perfect choice with each other and I am so excited to finally have a brother! Congratulations to my sister and new brother...I couldn't be more happy for you :)

I don't really know what to blog about. Thus, I am going to make this post about things you may or may not know about me. So here we go. (One more time, everybody's feelin' fine?):

I wish I could have tattoos.

I have recently become obsessed with StumbleUpon. You would be too...check it out.

I wish my hair was longer.

I wish my skin was clearer.

I wish my boobs were bigger.

Real talk.

One time when I was like 12, I spilled dark red nail polish all over my moms carpet and cleaned it up so good I'm not sure she even knows I spilled it.

If I could start college all over I would pick a different major.

I haven't showered since Monday.

I need better fashion sense.

I'm over being single.

My fingers are so small that my I accidentally threw away my favorite silver ring in the trash last week after I had washed my hands and I didn't even notice til like an hour later :(

The day after the Lakers got knocked out of the playoffs I wore black beacuse I was in mourning for them...Go Bulls??

I wear too many stripes.

And high-water pants.

I'm longing for a vacation. Somewhere tropical and HOT, please.

I didn't have my first kiss until I was 16...or was it 17? See, I don't even remember. That good. Haha

I've had a journal since I was 7 years old.

I want to go to a concert soon.

To the beautiful chocolate man I've seen 3 times this week....I LOVE YOUUUU.

Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Well, as I said in the previous post, my "good friend" Sydz is a great blog to follow. She always does this Awkward and Awesome Thursday. So Jords convinced me to do it as well. I can't really think of that many awkward things lately (I happen to love awkward moments) so I will revert to a few that have happened in the past month or so.

AWKWARD:

• Going to try on a pair of pants/shorts at a store and realize you're not wearing any underwear. (Yes, on occasion I go commando. Hahahah)
• Going to take a picture of a stranger to picture message your friend and the flash/camera sound goes off...oopsies?
• Walking to class and getting lost...AFTER you've gone to the same school for over 3 years. (Physical Plant Way and Starlight Drive?...yeah, you've never heard of them either.)
• Engaged roommates. Why, oh WHYYY does God always make me roommates with the freakies?? Well, thank you for teaching me how NOT to act when I'm engaged.

AWESOME:

• Getting back up to school and having friends/a social life. Yayyy.
• The view from my bedroom window. HELLOOO cute boys.
• Spice Girls station on Pandora, I'm obsessed.
• Lakers game tonight....let's wrap up this series!
• Being sore the morning after a good workout.

this is me complaining.

I have been back up at school for over 1 week now. I have been in my 6th semester of college for 1 week now.

Why am I old enough to be in college for that long??

Why is my baby sister old enough to go to prom? Wasn't I just going to prom myself a few weeks ago?

Why is my older sister old enough to get married?? Pretty sure we were just cheering together at a basketball game last weekend.

Growing up is freaky deaky.

Anywho, now with being back at school comes a new place to live. (I needed a change, other side of the tracks now people). The best parking spot closest to my apartment is on the street. The people park like this:

I don't know if you people took drivers ed, but in California we were taught to park the same way traffic drives on a street. So from the truck up to that little white car YOU'RE ALL PARKED THE WRONG WAY. Helloooo annoying parkers.

Okie, I'm done complaining. Do you guys follow The Daybook? If not, please do. She is the adorabz fashionista who is a fellow student at BYUI. I found her blog a few months ago and have been obsessed ever since. This past weekend, she hosted a party for her 5000+ followers. FIVE THOUSAND.

Holy. Well me and Jords went to it and it was supa fun. We were even in one of her posts about it!!
